Hi my name is Adam Scott and I'm a full-time professional guitar instructor serving the Hamilton area for over 20 years. I am a Mohawk College Honours Graduate in jazz guitar  and have my Grade 9 RCM in classical guitar. My main interest though is still rock, pop, and blues! I have had lessons with some of the worlds top guitar players such as Steve Morse, Paul Gilbert, Oz Noy, Mike Stern, Lorne Lofsky, and John Stowell. I have a long list of teaching/playing experience including teaching out of Pongetti's and Long and McQuades, plus running my own business successfully since 2011. I have also run online clinics for the Hamilton Wentworth District School Board. Most notable gigs were with world reknowned recording artist Johannes Linstead and I was also house guitarist at Paradiso restaurant for 5 years.
My lessons are tailored towards your interests and goals! Theory can be taught but is not mandatory. I teach the music you like and ensure that the learning is fun!
I can prepare students for RCM examinations, college/university entrance auditions, and help fulfill IB program requirements.
